Each year this blend is our rendition of the traditional GSM Rhone style blend. This year we added a barrel of Petite Sirah to the traditional blend and we love what the Petite brings to the wine. The deep garnet hue leads to a bouquet of dark fruit, vanilla, pepper, honey, and a hint of smoke. On the palate you’ll find complex flavors of blackberries, currants, and chocolate-covered espresso beans with good structure and a rich finish that lingers with flavors of toasted oak and cocoa.
